"Locke's ability is Steal, which allows him to attempt to steal an item from an enemy. Equipping Locke with the Brigand's Glove turns Steal into Mug, which allows Locke to attack an enemy while attempting to steal."
Until he receives it, Locke can ONLY try to steal from your character. Even then, I don't know why he'd try to go and attack anyone. They're not monsters, at least they don't seem like it, well maybe at some point, but still... THAT ASIDE! Please let me know if you'd like for him to attempt his hand at taking something. I mean, finding something.
