[So there he was, confused as he woke up in a bedroom that wasn't the inn that he had checked into the night before.  Not only that, his clothes were gone! ... replaced by some strange garments.  Getting dressed, he observes the room to find that... EVERYTHING he had was no longer with him...

There was only one thing to do!  Go out and try to get them back.  He's in such a hurry to get out of that building that, well... he fails to take notice of the family portrait.]
